Applications of sheet polymers
Polyurethane sheets of various shapes and sizes are used in the following industries:

  • mining industry: on crushing and conveying lines for rock and concentrate;
  • chemical industry: as internal structural components of containers in contact with aggressive media (except hydrochloric, nitric, and phosphoric acids);
  • forging and stamping operations: used as molds of various thicknesses;
  • residential construction: for bathroom floor repairs (non slip surfaces), pool structures (resistant to moisture and mold growth), and seals for windows and doors;
  • finishing works: facade systems and foundation applications;
  • automotive industry: for the manufacture of luggage compartments, floor mats, and other components;
  • machine tool manufacturing: used as shock absorbing materials to reduce vibration.

Polyurethane sheets are designed to protect components of transport and industrial equipment from intensive wear caused by abrasive bulk materials, corrosion, as well as various atmospheric and aggressive environmental influences.
They are used to protect surfaces from abrasion and impact loads, serve as shock absorbing linings, and prevent material sticking or freezing.
Polyurethane sheets are applied for lining and protection of the following equipment:

  • gravity chutes
  • heads and receiving hoppers of bucket elevators
  • turning sections of pneumatic conveying systems
  • screw conveyor troughs
  • suspended hoppers
  • discharge hoppers of grain dryers
  • mixers and ball mills
  • receiving chutes of belt conveyors
  • intermediate hoppers, skips, and other equipment.
