Ukrpromservice offers a range of polyurethane products, including polyurethane coatings and restoration services. These services can save significant costs compared to ordering and manufacturing a new part. Polyurethane establishes strong bonds with metal surfaces through special processing, making it suitable for surfaces of any configuration. The polyurethane coating can be applied repeatedly as needed, ensuring durability and efficiency.
Coating products with polyurethane helps protect them from:
- water exposure;
- rust formation;
- microorganisms and mold;
- weathering (ozone, moisture, ultraviolet radiation)
The polyurethane coating enhances the product’s maximum load capacity and resistance to abrasive wear, potentially prolonging its service life by up to three to fourfold.
We collaborate with customers from Ukraine and all CIS countries and are prepared to offer competitive pricing, flexible payment options, and reliable delivery services
Properties of polyurethane
Polyurethane is a distinctive synthetic material that is composed primarily of two raw materials, isocyanate and polyol, which are derived from crude oil. Polyurethane products are capable of withstanding extreme mechanical loads.
This material is durable, elastic, and resistant to wear. It is impervious to microorganisms, resistant to the swelling of various liquids, and has a high tensile strength. Additionally, it is resistant to open flames, salts, and many chemical compounds.
Among all insulating materials, polyurethane has the lowest thermal conductivity. It functions effectively as an electrical insulator and boasts excellent adhesive properties. Polyurethane is resistant to deformation, does not crack or delaminate, and is suitable for use in a variety of applications. It operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -60°C to +120°C. Its hardness ranges from 45 to 95 Shore (scale “A”).
Polyurethane is a non-toxic material that is free of harmful fillers. Polyurethane products, when colored, are non-marking and resistant to dirt, fats, and oils.
Polyurethanes offer superior abrasion resistance, making products made of this material up to 50 times more durable than products made of plastics, rubbers, non-ferrous and ferrous metals. Polyurethanes are not prone to fracture under stress, they retain their shape and properties even after cyclic loads are applied, and they do not collapse under repeated bending. When the load is removed, this material is characterized by low residual deformation. Polyurethane’s use in various products can halve weight reductions, reduce noise and vibration during operation.
The properties of polyurethane and its derivatives have led to the widespread use of polyurethane-based products, including rubber seals, wheels, cores, and rollers.
