A rubber star washer is a key component of flexible couplings, acting as an elastic insert that absorbs deformation and reduces wear on intermediate parts subjected to bending loads.

The use of coupling sprockets ensures efficient power transmission while minimizing torsional vibrations, dampening shocks, and reducing the risk of damage to motor shafts during changes in rotation direction. In addition, these elements can be used as inserts between metal half-couplings.

All variants are manufactured to the customer-specified strength grade, measured on the Shore scale and identified by the color of the raw material:

  • White – reduced hardness (up to 85 Shore units)
  • Yellow – medium hardness (92 Shore units)
  • Red – high hardness (95–98 Shore units)
