Fabric-reinforced chevron seals for hydraulics
Request a cost estimate
Get a consultation Fabric-reinforced chevron seals are used in hydraulic systems operating under regular high pressure of up to 63 MPa to support stable cylinder operation and piston rod movement at speeds of up to 3 m/s. These are special sealing cuffs with a distinctive profile shape, designed to provide reliable sealing in demanding operating conditions.
Product characteristics
When choosing fabric-based chevron seals, it is important to consider the maximum permissible operating parameters. These products are designed for the following conditions:
- maximum permissible operating pressure of up to 630 kgf/cm²;
- reciprocating movement speed of up to 3 m/s;
- working media may include water, mineral oils, fresh water, salt water, emulsions, and petroleum products;
- maximum permissible working medium temperature should not exceed 100°C.
All fabric products are manufactured from a special domestic-type material produced in accordance with GOST 1104-69. A cotton base or various combined fabrics with the required characteristics may also be used. The use of fabric reinforcement significantly increases the strength of the product and supports stable operation in a wide range of severe conditions.
Chevron cuffs can be divided into two categories depending on the maximum permissible operating temperature. The first category includes products designed for operations up to 70°C, while the second includes cuffs suitable for use up to 100°C.
Sealing rings used in railway carriage manufacturing are available in different diameters, depending on the type of work performed and the medium with which the product will come into contact.
