Rubber bushings are components of a wide variety of mechanical devices. These indispensable products are used across industry, including the chemical industry, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, mechanical engineering, aircraft manufacturing, and many other production processes.

Rubber bushings are manufactured as cylinders or cones with central holes and are used as protective elements for various mechanical components to prevent rapid wear. The use of rubber bushings in machinery reduces the likelihood of equipment failure and accidents.

Types of rubber bushings

These flexible, high-strength products are manufactured in several types:

  1. Adapter bushings: widely used in metalworking machines.
  2. Bearing bushings serve to enhance anti-friction properties.
  3. Retaining bushings secure parts to specific sections of shafts and axles.
  4. Clamping bushings are used when installing tapered bearings.
  5. MUVP bushings are used to connect shafts and transmit rotational motion between them.

Rubber bushings perform a wide range of functions depending on the type of load—they compensate for unwanted oscillations, protect against vibrations and impacts, stabilize the structure, and so on. The most commonly used material in the manufacture of such products is elastic rubber.

Bushing production

Bushings are made from flexible and durable rubber synthesized through the vulcanization of natural rubber. The result of the manufacturing process is high-quality rubber resistant to oils and gasoline.

Thanks to these properties, rubber bushings offer enhanced resistance to wear, chemicals, and oxidizing agents. These products reduce friction and extend the service life of numerous mechanisms, automotive parts, and other equipment.

Rubber safety bushings

Rubber bushings are also used to protect wires, cables, and harnesses in electrical cabinets from breaks and cuts.

These components are manufactured in one or more stages using a pressing process, advanced technologies, and high-quality raw materials. To increase strength, plastic or metal elements are installed inside the bushings.

The bushings remain functional at temperatures ranging from -50 to +120 degrees Celsius and can operate in aggressive environments such as gasoline, kerosene, and mineral and synthetic oils.
