Food-grade rubber is used to manufacture sealing elements that securely join components in food packaging. The material performs reliably at temperatures from –30°C to +140°C and pressures up to 0.6 MPa, while retaining its original technical properties.

Food-grade rubber is odorless, tasteless, and completely safe for human contact, making it ideal for use in the food industry.

Production of Food-Grade Rubber

Food-grade rubber can be produced in:

  • Rolls
  • Moulded sheets

Food-grade technical rubber sheets are manufactured according to current GOST standards. The products are classified into several categories based on the specific type of food they will contact.

Depending on the intended environment, heat-resistant, oil-resistant, or acid- and alkali-resistant types of food-grade rubber are used. This material is ideal for sealing elements or as a protective coating for metal parts.
